GREAT NEWS!    Congress has extended the tax credit to qualified service members who are have been on extended duty.  For these homebuyers, as long as a ratified contract is turned in before April 30, 2011 and close before June 30, 2011 the credit can be applied.  To qualify, the member must have served outside the U.S. at least 90 days between Dec. 31, 2008 through May 1, 2010.
